Portland, Oregon 2021-10-17 20:26:33 –

KOIN, Oregon — The Boys & Girls Club has set up a free clinic to increase immunization rates for blacks, indigenous peoples, and people in the color community in Portland.

The walk-in vaccination site was set up in the Regency Club in North Portland with the support of several community organizations such as the Latino Network and the Urban League.

The organizer wants to help get a more comfortable vaccination for those who need an answer about the vaccine from a trusted person.

Terrison, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club, said: Portland Metro Area.

I had a translator at hand to help non-English speaking people and the shots were free.
