Placer County (CBS13) — A magnitude 4.1 quake shook the Lake Tahoe region on Friday morning.

# Breaking news A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was reported in the middle of Lake Tahoe at 8:25 am.

This puts the epicenter of the quake in the middle of Lake Tahoe.
It seems that most of the area around Tahoe was shaking.
According to the USGS, some people have felt a bit of shaking, from the Sacramento Valley to the edge of the East Bay, USGS says.
Before the magnitude 4.1 earthquake, there was a 2.9 in the morning, followed by an aftershock of 2.7.
No damage has been reported at this time.
