St. Petersburg, Florida — Preserve’Burg is pleased to welcome Emanuel “Manny” Leto as the new Executive Director. Manny is responsible for leading the organization and working to promote strategic initiatives set by the Board of Directors. This includes community protection, community engagement and education, planning, program management, financing, staff and board leadership.
As Preserve’Burg continues to grow and diversify its membership offerings, Manny looks forward to connecting with St. Petersburg’s population and community through the expansion of programming, tours and events. In addition, Manny wants to foster relationships with local developers and work with businesses, nonprofits, community leaders and city authorities to build a true coalition of conservation advocates.
“Historical buildings provide a dramatic and unique background for this growing city, but we know that the value of historic preservation goes beyond buildings,” Emmanuel Leto said. It was. “Holy. Manny has been part of the Tampa Bay area’s cultural community for over 20 years and joined Preserve’Burg 13 years later as Marketing and Communications Director at the Tampa Bay History Center. In addition, Manny has served on the boards of various nonprofits, including the Eversity Chamber of Commerce and the American Institute of Architects’ Cultural Heritage Committee. Manny is currently a board member of the Tampa Bay Architectural Design Center.
