Project Graduation offers alcohol-free celebration for seniors | Explore Wellness – Tucson, Arizona

Tucson, Arizona 2022-05-12 03:00:00 –

Project Graduation offers an all-night party to seniors at Ironwood Ridge High School.

The Island Escape-themed celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 18th, from immediately after graduation to 5am the following day.

This safe and sober celebration is an alternative for high school seniors who are trying to celebrate their graduation without alcohol.

Fun includes spas, carnival games, places to relax and watch movies, food trucks, and hypnotist shows at the end of the night. There is also an escape game at this year’s event.

The project graduation committee is encouraging parents to participate in this year’s event due to the lack of volunteers.

To realize the magic, we need more than 200 volunteers before and during the celebration.

“I met some great people volunteering for project graduates that I wouldn’t have met if I hadn’t volunteered,” said Beth Roberts, event chair.

The celebration is volunteer-led and funded by donors. If there are not enough volunteers to help, the celebration may end early.
