It bans doctors from having an abortion in Ohio and makes it a four-time felony. Rape and incest are no exception.
The first hearing was held last week in the Ohio House of Representatives on ancillary bills, House Bill 598 and the Enacted Life Protection Act.
Prolife advocates remain cautiously optimistic, but planned parent-child relationships want to make it clear that abortion is still legal at this time.
