Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – The Catholic Health Initiative St. Joseph’s Children is a free universal home visit program that helps families overcome the ups and downs of parenting. Vice President Jessa Cowdley and Program Management Director Mari Garcia are discussing services to provide to parents throughout the state.
CHI St. Joseph is a self-funded program that supports all families and children of all abilities and for donations, with no income requirements. The organization does not use government funds and does not charge family members or insurance.
CHI St. Josephs provides home visitors to families to support their first-time parents. Telemedicine home visit It is free and voluntarily provided.
In addition, the organization provides services immediately after family registration, and if registered before birth, specialized curriculum and information and support are also available. Other services offered include growth and development guidance, support for communicating with healthcare providers, and enhanced referrals.
