Pinellas County, Florida — A public meeting will be held on Monday, July 12, to discuss proposed changes to the 19 dangerous parts of the United States in northern Pinellas County.
The road from SR580 to County Road 95 is known as a dangerous road and is sometimes referred to as the “Death Valley”.
This proposal adds a concrete barrier between the north and south lanes and a side road for business access.
New interchanges are also planned for Curlew Road and US19. Its construction is scheduled to begin in 2022.
An interchange is also planned between SR580 and Carrew Road, just north of Boy Scout Road.
This interchange accommodates U-turn movements between the north and south frontage roads and acts as a pedestrian crossing.
In addition to the interchange, pedestrians have their own underpass between Evans Road. And Dr. Republic.
