Robeson County, NC (WBTW) – Robeson County, North Carolina Board of Education public schools require masks for all students and staff on Monday night, regardless of vaccination status, in the building or while on the bus. It was unanimously approved to pass.
Masks are required for all students from pre-kindergarten to grade 13. No mask is needed outdoors as long as the physical distance is possible.
According to NC DHHS, the complete immunization rate in Robeson County is only 27%. This is the lowest rate in the News 13 display area.
Athletes and coaches are required to wear masks while not participating in all indoor activities and games. You don’t need a mask outdoors as long as you can maintain your physical distance.
Mask requirements are reviewed every 30 days.
