Pueblo, Colorado-Pueblo law enforcement agencies have warned the general public about several men who may be impersonating on behalf of the sheriff’s office.

Pueblo Police Station (PPD) posted to them about the incident Facebook pageAfter 5 am on May 17, a man dressed in a patch from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office said he was approaching the door of a house in the 4600 block of Solar Drive. The man knocked on the door, but the resident did not answer. The man left and then returned with another and knocked again, but the resident did not answer.

The man in the photo above and the other two wore bandanas on their faces. The fourth person was in a vehicle that all arrived. This is called a white SUV, probably Buick Encore.

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office also posted about the incident On twitterMake sure none of these individuals work in the sheriff’s office. The PCSO stated that the agent does not wear a bandana on his face, but has a badge and ID that clearly identifies himself and is an agent.

If anyone wonders if they are a legitimate law enforcement agency, the dispatcher knows if there is an agent at that location, so PCSO told me to call 911.
