Tampa, Florida, October 2021: Ybor Merchant’s Association will kick-start this year’s Halloween celebrations at the 9th Fantasma Fest. The festival takes place on historic 7th Avenue in downtown Ibor. Fantasma Fest 2021 is a free public event for all ages. It will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 and Sunday, October 24, 2021.

“We are delighted to see the Fantasmafest come back this year. It is important for us to give back to the community and provide a fun and safe environment for families to celebrate Halloween,” said Ybor Merchant’. Ken Foutch, Chairman of the s Association, said. “Crowd favorites like Little Monster Pumpkin Patch and Big Monster Bed Race are back. We expect the highest turnout ever this year!”

The 9th Fantasma Fest will host free daytime events such as the Little Monster Pumpkin Patch and Trick or Treat. Parents are encouraged to dress up their children, get free pumpkins, decorate them, and do trick-or-treat at a local company of their choice. Children can turn the gourd of their choice into a ghoul. All families will receive a map with business stops for trick or treat. The Little Monster Pumpkin Patch will be held on October 23rd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Ybor Merchant Association will host the Big Monsters Bed Race shortly after the Little Monsters Pumpkin Patch. This event is for thrill-seeking speed demons and families are encouraged to watch the competition. Racers build homemade beds on the wheels and run through 7th Avenue. Sign-up sheets will be available for participants until October 15th, and the captain will meet at Dirty Shame on October 16th at 6pm. The fastest team wins trophies and some hard-earned bragging rights, and people’s choice for the finest beds also wins trophies. The event is open to all ages and will take place on Saturday, October 23, from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Fantasma Fest will also feature Hell on Wheels, a show of classic cars and vintage motorcycles. From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on October 24th, the community will take a walk on 7th Avenue, enjoying 50’s music and over 200 American muscle cars, classic cars and motorcycles. You can buy food, raffle and other prizes, and all proceeds will be donated to the veterans’ charity My Warriors Place. If you are interested in registering your vehicle, pre-sale is $ 20 and $ 30 on the day of the event.

This year’s Fantasma Fest is proudly sponsored by Centro Ybor, Ybor City Development Corporation, Ybor Merchant’s Association, Coppertail Brewing Co, and BNK Creative.
