In a Telegram post, Sobyanin said the attack had caused “minor damage” to several buildings. The two were treated for unspecified injuries but did not require hospitalization.

Residents of two buildings damaged in the attack have been evacuated, Sobyanin said.

Moscow regional governor Andrei Vorobyov later said that several drones “were shot down while approaching Moscow.”

Ukrainian officials were not immediately available for comment on the attack.

It was the second reported attack on Moscow, officials said. Two drones targeted the Kremlin earlier this month The incident was described as an attempt to kill President Vladimir Putin.
