Boston (WHDH)-Avid readers returned to the shelves of the Adams Street Branch Library in Dorchester on Saturday after the building was refurbished.

At the Ribbon Cut Ceremony, Mayor Kim Janie said he was happy to see the building reopen after the $ 18 million project and praised the librarians who worked on the pandemic.

“I am very grateful to all the librarians in the city, especially the librarians working here,” said Janey.
