(NEXSTAR) – It may not be anyone’s dream home, but it’s certainly someone’s nightmare home.
A Louisiana realtor has put up an abandoned house by recreating one of the creepiest aspects of real estate, a pair of scary dolls left by the previous owner.
“The house was so scary and scary that I did it just to get the house’s attention,” he said. Tony Bertucci NOLA Living Realty. “I wanted to do something to brighten the picture of my house.”
Bertucci, a resident of New Orleans, tells Nexstar that he is actually the current owner of a house in nearby Metairie. He bought it with the intention of repairing it and selling it, but Hurricane Aida threw a wrench into his plan.
“We were recovering from the catastrophic damage,” said Bertucci, whose trait was hit during the hurricane. “So it was a bit of a priority over some refurbishment projects.”

Surprisingly, Bertucci said he was immediately talking to a potential buyer. Some of them wondered if there were ghosts in the house or if they wanted to know more about dolls.
“I just said the doll was my client,” Bertucci joked. “The house was too big for them, so they said they were selling.”
