Recovered body believed to be missing Kauai woman – Honolulu, Hawaii

Kauai police said today they believed they had recovered the body of a woman on Kauai who was reported missing earlier this month.

Police and community members on Kauai were searching for Joddielynn Taylor, 56, who was reported missing on October 9.

Police said today that civilians found bodies in the process of corruption in an area with a thick brush of Poipu. Police said the cause of death was unknown and an autopsy report was pending.

According to previous police reports, Taylor was last seen on October 6th.

The Hawaiian and Caucasian Taylor had unique markings such as a tribal tattoo on his waist, a flower tattoo on his abdomen, and a tattoo with the word “Kuipo” on his waist.

“We cannot provide any further information at this time as the investigation is underway,” police said.
