Hutchinson, Kansas (KSNW) —The Reno County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in finding the missing pickup truck. Investigators suspect that the pickup may have been stolen from one of the two men whose bodies were found east of Hutchinson on Friday, August 27.

Investigators have not released information on how the two died or who they are. The Sheriff’s Office is still awaiting reliable identification through the Sedgwick County Coroner’s Office.

Eudora’s Kyle Hardwick was arrested for corn a few days after the body was found. He has been charged with two charges: one murder and theft of a felony. Hardwick remains imprisoned for $ 2 million in bonds.

Reno County Sheriff Darian Campbell said the three men were acquainted and agreed to meet in a rural area to see a new gun purchased by one of them.

In a Facebook message on Friday, the sheriff’s office posted a photo of a red pickup with a silver trim. Investigators say they have been looking for a truck that they “believe was stolen” from the day the body was found.

The truck is a 2000 Ford F-150 expansion cab. The truck is red, has a silver bottom, and the bed has a silver toolbox. The sheriff’s office states that the Kansas veteran tag may have “65 BMW” on it.

When you see the truck, the sheriff’s office says you shouldn’t approach or touch it. Instead, call 911 or call Reno County Crime Stopper at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
