Cleveland (WJW / AP) – Person in charge Anthony GonzalezRepublicans in District 16 of Ohio have announced that they will not run for reelection in 2022.

36-year-old Gonzales announced on Twitter Thursday night. Parliamentarians said it would be in the best interests of the family not to run next fall, given the reality of continuing public affairs while balancing parenting responsibilities.

He said he was proud of the victory his office had achieved and thanked the community for serving the 16th arrondissement.

Gonzales is one of 10 Republicans in the House of Representatives Voted to impeach former President Donald Trump For his role in inciting the riots at the Capitol on January 6th.

He would have faced Max Miller at the Primary next year. Trump endorsed Miller, a former White House aide to the campaign.
