Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE)-Repeated drunk driving criminals were arrested and released from prison this week for drunk driving and high-speed tracking. According to state police, Joseph Gomez fled an officer at I-40 near Wyoming on Thursday around 2 am when he was speeding at over 100 mph.

Police said Gomez drove the I-40 east to Moriarty’s Highway 333. He reportedly tried to get through a truck stop and got stuck between a parked cicada and a wall.

According to criminal accusations, he escaped on foot and had his blood drawn before being detained with the help of Edgewood police. Gomez was charged with his third drunk driving, worse escape, and other charges. According to online records, the 55-year-old boy was released on Friday and will return to court next month.
