Residents in Cameron Peak Fire area still dealing with downed lines, no service – Denver, Colorado

Denver, Colorado 2020-11-22 01:01:28 –

Larimer County, Colorado (KDVR) — Some people living in the upper part of Poodle Canyon in the Cameron Peak fire area do not know when a downline will occur and telephone service will be restored.

Brett Ridges said he hasn’t used the telephone service since September 7. He called CenturyLink about the issue and said he was telling him when the service would be restored. However, although multiple dates came and went, he still has no dial tone.

“It’s becoming dangerous,” Ridges said. “My wife is older than me and has problems with physical mobility. When I travel this way, I don’t leave her at home. I can’t. I make her a daughter and son-in-law’s house. I’ll take you. “

CenturyLink told Ridges that the service needs to be restored on Monday.

I contacted the company, but I didn’t get a reply.
