Greenville County, South Carolina (WSPA) – Bloodhound, a retired Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, is making his television debut.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Rusty will appear on the GAC Family Network’s “Project K9 Hero Awards” at 5 pm on May 12. This show honors America’s best police and gendarmerie K-9 heroes.
Prior to leaving the sheriff’s office in 2020, Rusty participated in 116 deployments, covering more than 200 miles, and had 32 confirmed “discoveries,” the agent said. His most notable case was when he found a 21-hour missing person almost eight miles from the last known location.
