Now, more than a year after his diagnosis He praises and shares recipes to nourish his heart..

“Squash is delicious. The way to learn how to cook squash is to repeat it over and over until you understand it correctly,” said Rev. Enochfaz.

He knows that preparing and eating a healthy diet is the best medicine, along with the kind support of others.

Since his cancer diagnosis, he has heard from so many who have him in their prayers.

He gives a positive outlook on everything he does, especially when he visits the food pharmacy at Nashville General Hospital.

He led fundraising activities for healthy food depots such as squash and other fresh foods and dried foods, feeding hungry people and raising thousands of dollars.

He is grateful for medicine, support and love from friends and family, and his faith.

He intended to defeat cancer and said, “It’s good to be alive.”
