The River Front Times Received a grant of $ 4,500 from International Women’s Media Foundation Reproductive Rights Reporting Fund Investigate Missouri reproductive rights.

The International Women’s Media Foundation is an NGO that supports female journalists working in the global news media. The organization provides safety training, byline opportunities and emergency support to female journalists and photographers around the world.

In the opinion of the leaked Supreme Court about the overthrow of Roe v. Wade, The IWMF wanted to support “subtle and diverse reports of reproductive rights throughout the United States.”

Staff writer Monica Obradvic wrote a grant application to cover underreported stories related to women’s health. Staff writer Ryan Kururu will also be working on this project. Grants cover travel and reporting costs.
