On Wednesday, Rihanna released a snippet of her first new song in years, a single from the upcoming movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The superstar shared a 15-second video for “Lift Me Up,” which features a melodic hum and a Friday date — with the rest of the song expected to be released. It has been played over 2.4 million times on strong.
Her beauty line, Fenty Beauty, responded to the tweet, saying, “Rihanna rules Wakanda forever.”
The announcement comes the day after the video from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” Twitter Page displayed the film’s title before choosing the letter “R” for “Forever,” leading fans to believe that Rihanna was coming out of her hiatus.
