Rio will reopen on December 22, following the closure of COVID-19 since mid-March, with Caesars Entertainment’s last property reopening.
Initially, the hotel will accommodate four nights each week starting Thursday and the casino floor will be open all day.
“We are aware of the incredible effort we have made to reopen the resort and reach this important milestone. Team members and guests will return to Rio with health and safety first. The reopening will also bring a modified sports book and operator, William Hill.
All-American Bar & Grille, Hash House A Go Go, VooDoo Steak, and many Rio Bars are back. Rio’s buffet, like most buffets in town, remains closed.
Officials said the performance schedule for Penn & Teller, Rio’s top entertainment attraction, will be announced later.
