Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (WBTW) — River levels in Grand Strand and Speedy continue to rise or are stable.
The Socasty Intracoastal Waterway reaches 16 feet and will continue to rise to about 18 feet from February 27-28. The Waccamaw River in Conway is projected to be stable during the next week’s Flood. This means that floods will continue along the Intracoastal Waterway through Socasty.
The Lumberton River in Lumberton culminates at 21 feet on Saturday and falls to moderate flood levels on Tuesday.
The Peedy River near the Gulliven’s Ferry is close to the summit of nearly 12.9 feet at the flood level and falls into a moderate flood level at the end of Thursday.
The Lynchs River in Effingham culminates at 17.95 feet on Sunday and is at a moderate flood level. It will be a small flood on Thursday.
The Waccamaw River near Conway will hold nearly 14.6 feet at the flood level next week. The Waccamaw River in Freeland reaches a height of about 16.5 feet on Monday and slowly flows down throughout the week.
