Roberto Cavalli is renewing its management team to lay the foundation for the renewal. After appointing Ennio Fontana as the general manager announced last week, the Italian label has taken a new step towards completing the team by letting Faust Puglish take care of the design.
A Sicilian-born Milan-based stylist is a fast-acting design consultant, but his first collection will be unveiled in January 2021.
“All design features within Roberto Cavalli are overseen by Faust Puglish,” the label said in a press release. Roberto Cavalli is in the midst of a restructuring under the new owner Dico Group, which belongs to billionaire Hussein Saddam Hussein, who took over from the Cresidra Investment Fund, and has been the creative director since the departure of Paul Surridge last year. I’m missing.
“We are proud and honored to continue to advance the tradition of this extraordinary label, especially to develop the glamorous and sophisticated image of Roberto Cavalli,” said Puglish.
“I am enthusiastic about developing my ideas about inclusion and beauty, enhancing aesthetics and amplifying dialogue between diverse cultures. This is Cavalli, celebrating the Italian tradition of prestigious craftsmanship. This is a unique opportunity to write a new chapter in the history of the country, “added Puglisi.
“Puglisi brings a wealth of experience [Cavalli].. He is a designer who can fully understand and reinterpret Roberto Cavalli’s heritage and essence, “said Fontana.
Fausto Puglisi owns the label of the same name, which is held regularly in Milan. In the past, after collaborating with Blumarine and Versace, he became the creative director of the French label Ungaro and made his debut on the runway in Paris in March 2013.
