Robeson County, North Carolina (WBTW) —The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help of the general public as lawmakers continue to investigate the deadly shootings of former St. Paul High School athletes.
Marquee’s Coleman, 19, of St. Paul’s, was sentenced to die early Thursday after being taken to the UNC Southeast Medical Center. According to the sheriff’s office, he was shot dead on 885 N. Alford Road in St. Pauls and taken to the hospital in a private car before his agent arrived.
“Through the survey, many talked about Coleman’s smile, personality, coaching St. Paul’s high school athletes, and his athleticism,” Sheriff Bernice Wilkins said in a news release on Saturday. “This nonsensical crime left sadness for a young man who was taken away too early by his family, friends, and community and had a lot to offer.”
According to Wilkins, the murder division in his division is N. We conducted multiple interviews with businesses and homes in the Alford Road area and watched surveillance videos, but were not arrested.
