The Salvation Army in Washington has received $ 2,750 from the Food Lion Feed Charitable Foundation to help feed locals when needed.
“Food Lion has been a loyal supporter of the Salvation Army for many years. We thank the Food Lion Feed Charity Foundation for providing valuable funding this year to feed the underprivileged in our area.” Said Captain Carl Bush of the Army Washington Corps.
The funds will be used to provide hungry individuals or families with boxes of food designed to feed for up to two weeks.
