“I think he’s in survival mode, I really do,” said Woodward County Sheriff Kevin Mitchell. “We quickly realized that there was no normal one-off theft.”

The suspect is currently associated with at least five robbers in Cleveland County.

Mendy Brandon, a spokeswoman for the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, said: “We believe he will hide in a tree and hang out just to avoid law enforcement.”

Alisha Shrout said the agent believed she was one of the suspect’s victims in Woodward. She says he hit her house twice instead of once.

“They said it was his signature trademark. He went in and dumped the house in the trash,” Schlaut told KFOR. “He turned off the camera outside of me, then went into my bedroom and cut all the cords where the receiver was.”

According to Schlaut, his neighbor’s security camera caught the scammer while he was wearing his headlamps.

“He put the headlamp next to the food in my kitchen,” she said.

A single mother of three boys said the suspect broke into her house after kicking her back door. She said he stole her jewelry, threw her clothes, damaged her iPad, and helped with a few cans of soup.

“He made a bowl for breakfast from my freezer and used my microwave,” Schlaut said.

Schlaut added that the suspect also slept in his son’s bed and used the bathroom.

“He took a shower and left wet towels and soap all over the floor of my shower,” Schlaut said. “In fact, I found his jeans in the hallway outside my bathroom. It was like a shoelace.”

In addition to dumping his home in the trash, Schlaut said he stole two pistols and a shotgun.

“He took a 4-10 shotgun out of my bedroom closet, loaded it, left a box of shells in the bathroom, and supported him while sitting outside the bathroom,” she said. .. “He also pushed some of those shells into the sewers of my sink.”

Sheriff Mitchell said this was also common.

“We have lost a dozen or so firearms. Handguns and rifles. We have recovered about six of them, so there are still some unresolved ones,” said Sheriff Mitchell. “When we approached catching up with him, he threw away whatever he had and ran.”

Sheriffs said Earls also left some bread crumbs from previous hits.

“He went to one place with something, then to the next, and left something from the beginning,” Sheriff Mitchell said.

Sheriffs also said they were approaching catching him several times.

“We were there enough time to look at him right away, and we tried to contain him, but in our rugged terrain it really does. It’s difficult, “he said. “He’s a little slippery.”

Now, Cleveland County lawmakers believe he is at the head of the forest, probably hiding near Norman and Noble.

“He wears camouflage and some kind of ghillie suit and is believed to be hiding in the forests of the area,” Brandon said.
