Chicago (AP) — Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddie “Spazy Maggie” Jones in the 2003 movie “School of Rock” starring Jack Black, hit a car while riding a bike down the streets of Chicago. I was killed.

Police said a 32-year-old boy had been attacked after a red light in the city’s Avondale district early Wednesday.

Authorities say emergency responders arriving at the scene found Clark partially under the car.

Clark was taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in crisis, where he was sentenced to death after a while.

Authorities say a 20-year-old woman driving a car was issued some citations, but they did not provide additional information.

Black went to Instagram on Wednesday to express his condolences and share his photos from both the movie starring with Clark and his later life.

“Catastrophic news. Kevin is gone. It’s too early. A beautiful soul. Lots of great memories. Broken heart. I love his family and the entire School of Rock community,” Black wrote in the caption.
