NS. Louis (KMOV.com)-Security guards shot dead a suspected car intruder outside the SSM Health Cardinal Glenon Childrens Hospital all night.

According to police, a man broke into a car in a parking lot at 1400 blocks in South Grand around 1 am on Wednesday. A shooting took place after a guard was overrun by a vehicle driven by the suspect.

A car intruder was shot in the chest and sentenced to death in a hospital. The guards were taken to the hospital in a critical and unstable state.

Accident reconstruction and murder investigators were called in to investigate. This story will be updated as more details become available.
