Further east of Erinwood, strong winds estimated at 70-80 mph knocked down trees and cut off several power lines around the town. A 1-inch size hail was also reported in the storm.

Chance Bailey, police chief of Erinwood, reports that there are many trees around the town. He says the tornado siren rang to warn the inhabitants that a powerful storm was approaching.

Bailey says power is being supplied around the town. But he says it’s not in some homes with tree damage.
