Continue to monitor the possibility of bad weather Today, the first round of thunderstorms can start early this afternoon, and the next round can start late tonight overnight. The greatest threat to bad weather is generally north of Kinston and Washington. See the attached pager for more information.

Moreover, we still expect a long term Coastal disaster The low pressure remains almost stationary off our coast from Sunday to next Wednesday. With the latest forecast updates, the winds tend to be a little stronger, raising confidence that the area will be affected by sea floods and coastal floods. Dangerous surf conditions and strong rip currents are also expected. For more information on this system, see the attached page 1 briefing.
