Tucson, Arizona — Arizona officials responded to the lively shooter scene at Tucson Station on Amtrak on Monday.

Amtrak said a shooting took place on Amtrak’s Sunset Limited train in Tucson.
“Sunset Limited, Train 2 moved from Los Angeles to New Orleans and arrived at Tucson Station at 7:40 am local time,” Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams told KGUN9 by email. “There are 137 passengers and 11 crew members, and all passengers and crew members are currently evacuating to the station. No crew members or passenger injuries have been reported.”
KGUN9 confirmed that at least one person was shot dead.

The police were at the scene around 8 am. Passengers were escorted from the train and multiple gunshots were fired.
During the investigation, a K9 unit police officer boarded the train.

Police urged people to avoid the area during the investigation.
