Shootings injure two in Milwaukee – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings, Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

The first shooting took place around 9 pm on July 17, 2021, at 6200 blocks on West Fondo Durack Avenue near West Baldwin Street. Police say the debate led to the shooting. A 25-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a life-threatening injury. They continue to search for unknown suspects.

The second shooting took place on July 18, 2021, at about 1:15 am, at 2400 blocks on West Hopkins Street near North 24th Avenue. Police said a 53-year-old Milwaukee man came to the hospital after being beaten in the foot. This is not life-threatening. They believe the victims were not the target of the shooting. The search for the suspect continues.
