Pueblo, Colorado-Mobile Shower Program and Pueblo Joint Care Center have revived the My Brother’s Keeper Shower of Hope Program.
The program will provide mobile shower facilities and other homeless resources sponsored by the United Way in Pueblo County, Pueblo City, Pueblo County, and the Colorado Department of Housing and Finance at Pueblo City Park near Swimming on Friday, September 10. The pool starts at 9am and ends around 1pm.
This event marks the 1,000th MSP shower since resuming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Various local businesses and organizations in and around Pueblo also support MSP and the Pueblo Cooperative Care Center. They are listed as follows: American Medical Response, Aguilar Barber Styling, Blanket Pueblo, Southern Colorado Care and Share, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Catholic Charity, Catholic Charity Rehiring, Crossroads Turning Point, Excel Laundry, Family Worship Center, FEMA, Fellowship of the Rockies, First United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Health Colorado, Health Solutions, Homeless Assistance League, Little Caesars Pizza, Martinez Mobile Dental, Medicare Mentors, Pueblo City / County Health Department, Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen , Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, Pueblo Fire Department DOTS Team, Pueblo Fire Department, Pueblo Park & Recreation, Pueblo Police Station, Pueblo Rescue Mission, Pueblo United, Praise Rally, Sam’s Street Tacos, Pork Chop Lady and various other volunteers.
