Kansas City, Missouri — Simone Biles returned to the tournament overnight in Tokyo and played in the beam finals with teammate Suni Lee.

Simone won a bronze medal with her performance winning 14.000.

It’s been a little over a week since American superstars left the tournament to focus on their mental health.

Following Simone’s performance, congratulations were poured on social media.

24-year-old Biles won a bronze medal in Rio de Janeiro five years ago and played in the finals of eight women on the first weekend of the game.

She opted out of the finals with all-round, floor exercises, uneven bars and vaults.

Guan Chenchen of China won the gold medal at 14.633.

China’s Tang Akane Kasumi won the silver medal at 14.233.

USA gymnast Snilly scored 13.8 points at the event and did not win a medal.
