Las Vegas (KLAS) — North Las Vegas is opening the first small business connector of its kind to help companies launch and grow.
Located within the North Las Vegas City Hall, this center allows businesses to obtain a license, register with the Secretary of State, meet with urban development authorities, and apply for all permits in one place.
The ribbon cut is planned for Tuesday at 11:00 am at 2250 Las Vegas Boulevard. NS.
“By providing more resources under one roof, we make it even easier for small businesses to succeed in North Las Vegas,” said Mayor John Lee. “SMEs are the backbone of our economy and will drive a post-pandemic recovery in southern Nevada.”
NLV Connector Partners include UNLV’s Small Business Development Center. The center provides business owners with free expertise in how to start and grow their business. Access community capital. It offers low-cost business loans to small business owners and start-up entrepreneurs, focusing on leaders owned by women, veterans and minorities. Connecting job seekers and employers, Employ NV Business Hub helps companies grow with on-the-job training for new employees.
