The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that a single-engine aircraft crashed in a wooded area near Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, just before 7 pm on Friday. Only the pilot was on board. According to Kenhonic, chief of the Elizabeth Township Police Department, he was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition with a life-threatening injury. The crash occurred on Skillet Hill Road. The scene is less than 1.6 km (1 mile) from Lost Rabbar Airport. Investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
