Las Vegas (KLAS) —Pfizer COVID-19 Southern Nevadans eligible for booster shots will be able to receive one on a walk-in basis starting Tuesday, September 28th.

According to the Health District, the state-wide booking system is still being updated, but qualified individuals can receive boosters at the clinic in the South Nevada Health District.this The link shows the location of the clinic.
Boosters are for those who completed the Pfizer vaccine double dose series at least 6 months ago and:
- People over 65 and residents of long-term care facilities,
- People aged 50-64 Fundamental medical condition,
- 18-49 years old Fundamental medical condition May Receive booster shots based on individual benefits and risks,
- People aged 18-64 years at high risk of COVID-19 exposure and infection due to occupational or institutional settings May Receive booster shots based on individual benefits and risks.
Additional doses of Pfizer and Moderna
The health district also offers additional doses of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for people with weakened immunity who have completed a two-dose series. Reservation of additional doses can be made at the clinic by selecting “Additional doses” at the time of booking. This additional dose can be given as a second dose of Moderna or Pfizer for 28 days. Additional doses are not yet available to those who have been vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson.
Walgreens and CVS pharmacies began managing booster shots over the weekend.
