Kansas City, Missouri (KCTV)-Two companies in Kansas City are beginning to require customers to present proof of COVID vaccination today, and other companies will do the same in the coming days.

Hamburger Mary’s Restaurant and Woody’s KC Bar — both Broadway Boulevard — begin their practice today. The West Bottoms Ship Restaurant and KC Emprov Company will open this weekend.

If you plan to go, you will need to bring your vaccination card or card image to your mobile phone. They also accept a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours.

About 41% of Missouri’s population is fully vaccinated. That is compared to 50 percent of the country as a whole. The White House announced on Monday that about 70 percent of Americans had been vaccinated at least once.
