Some residents displaced after apartment fire early Wednesday – Omaha, Nebraska

Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —According to officials, a fire on the fifth floor evacuated some residents of Tiffany Tower apartments near 48th Avenue and Chicago Street on Wednesday morning.

Residents of the building evacuated around 3 am and the fire was reported around 5 am.

Fire damage has been reported on the 5th and 6th floors, and smoke / water damage is present throughout the complex.

There are about 20 units in total in the building.

Officials said no injuries were reported and the Red Cross was informed to help residents in need.

People living on the 1st to 3rd floors can go back inside, but people living on the 4th to 6th floors cannot go back due to damage.
