Some residents in Madera County ordered to evacuate immediately due to wildfire – Fresno, California

Madera County, California (KFSN) –Some residents of Madera County have been ordered to evacuate immediately due to a wildfire.

The fire is rampant in the area of ​​Road 222 on Lake Kirkhof, south of North Fork.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office states that the flames are life-threatening and the area is off limits to the general public.

Authorities have issued evacuation orders to residents of the following areas:

  • All homes within 0.5 miles of 28445 Road 222
  • All homes on Corrine Lake Road
  • North Fork’s Box Canyon Road, or all homes within 0.5 miles of Box Canyon Road
  • They will soon announce details of the shelter.

    According to CAL FIRE, the wildfire burned 10 acres at 7 pm.
