Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) — A 25-year-old man was charged with arson and assault after an investigator said he had set fire to a Brentwood house over the weekend and killed his father.
The Nashville Fire Department responded to a fire on Sunday at about 1:30 pm at Old Hickory Boulevard, just north of Williamson County, and at Valleyview Road’s home near Interstate Highway 65. did.
According to a fire department spokesman, one person was taken from the fire site to Nashville Hospital, where the victim died.
The warrant states that witnesses have told investigators that John Hassy, the son of the identified victim, is behind the house watching the fire.
