Columbia, South Carolina (WBTW) — South Carolina Attorney General Allan Wilson upholds the US Supreme Court’s ruling on concealment, according to a statement from his office.

“This ruling only supports the Constitutional Amendment Article 2 and the Constitution, and does not need to show any special need to protect ourselves and our families,” Wilson said in a statement. “That’s what we said to the court in our overview, and we are grateful for the court’s ruling.

Court voted 6-3 against New York state law To do so, the hidden carry permit application needed to show the special need for a license that goes beyond the desire to have a license for self-defense.

Conservative members of the court voted in favor of the strike, while three liberal judges voted against the move.

Wilson joined the other lawyer presidents at Amicus Briefs, who urged the court to overturn the law.
