SpaceX Inspiration 4 splashes down back on Saturday

SpaceX aired a live stream from orbit on Friday, with crew members from the historic Inspiration 4 mission providing up-to-date information on their second day in space.

The company said it was targeting Saturday at 7:06 ET for a crew dragon capsule resilience splashdown three days after the crew was in orbit.

Commander Jared Isaacman, Pilot Sian Proctor, Medical Officer Haley Arseno, and Mission Specialist Chris Sembroski are above the International Space Station, the highest altitude humans have traveled over the years, 585 kilometers ( It orbits the earth at an altitude of 363.5 miles).

“We are really proud to share this experience with everyone. We know how lucky we are to be here,” Isaacman said from space.
