ST. St. Louis (KMOV.com) – St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones is urging city residents to apply for vacant positions as the job freeze has been lifted.
According to the mayor’s office, the city of St. Louis has more than 100 jobs. Recruited positions include lifeguards, recreation assistants, and emergency dispatchers.
“St. Louis is recovering from the COVID-19 crisis, an opportunity for residents to play an important role in the city’s resurrection,” said Mayor Jones. “These are quality jobs, starting at $ 15 an hour, offering competitive salaries according to skill level and providing great benefits. If we can fill these critical vacancies, we will provide public services. Not only can we improve, but we can also help St. Louis residents and their families with high-paying jobs. ”
