The St. Louis County Council voted on Tuesday night in line with party policy and passed the delegation of vaccines to county employees. The bill was debated for a little over a month and faced strong opposition from Republicans.

County employees in need of vaccination do not include political appointees or police officers. Employees who refuse or are exempt from tax should be masked and regularly tested.

Citing the US Department of Health and Human Services Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, Speakers in Public Comments at the Conference — A hotbed of vaccine controversy and mask conspiracy theory in past meetings — Erupted a number of people who died from the COVID-19 vaccine. The video of the county council meeting was deleted by YouTube due to incorrect information.

The CDC and VAERS say statistics do not claim that the vaccine caused death or illness. Instead, report the number of people who died for some reason or became ill at some point after vaccination.

“The FDA requires healthcare providers to report deaths after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it is unclear if the vaccine is the cause.” Read the website..

That clarification does not convince the opponents of the vaccine. City council member Tim Fitch, who voted against the mission, introduced the “County Employee COVID-19 Health Protection Act.”

The law would require the county to provide free lifetime medical care to employees sick due to the COVID-19 vaccine. If an employee dies “as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine,” the beneficiary will receive $ 1 million.

“If a county employee is forced to decide whether to vaccinate or lose his job, he needs to be protected in case he chooses to vaccinate,” Fitch wrote in a tweet.

St. Louis County Executive Samuel Page is expected to sign a bill requiring vaccination today.
