Kansas City, Missouri (KCTV)-The White House says schools need to carry out standardized tests this year. That is according to the Ministry of Education.
The test was canceled in 2020 due to a pandemic. The Biden administration says schools have options such as shorter breaks, delayed breaks until summer or autumn, and remote control.
“There is an urgent need to understand the impact of COVID-19 on learning,” Ian Rosenberg, acting deputy secretary of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, wrote to the state... “But we know that some schools and school districts may face situations this spring where standard practices cannot be used to safely carry out a state-wide comprehensive assessment.”
