For many millennial kids, Steve Burns of “Blue’s Clues” has been steadily present in our lives. Until he’s gone.

Burns-or, as everyone knows him, Steve suddenly left the show in 2002, giving many 90’s kids a ghostly first taste. He told viewers that he was going to college and his brother Joe would look for clues, wait for mail time, and take over the job of talking to Mr. Salt and others. And like that, Steve is gone.

Almost 20 years later, Steve came back to give us a closure.

“May I talk about that?” He said in a video posted on Twitter by Nick Jr. “I think it was a bit sudden.”

Steve calls his time “university” -we seem to stick to that cover story-it’s “challenging” but “great”. He admits everything that has changed in the last 20 years or so.

“Look at you and see everything you did, and everything you achieved all the time. Wow, right? I started with clues, what are you doing now? Student loans, jobs , And the family. “

But Steve doesn’t just leave us with student loan debt and the idea of a 9 to 5 job.

“I think after all these years I just wanted to say I never forgot you … ever. And I’m very happy that we are still friends,” he said. Says, it instantly melts the solidified mind in our real world.

Debuting on September 8, 1996, the show will celebrate its 25th birthday on Wednesday.
