Storms bubble up this evening, temps soar for 4th – Wichita, Kansas

Wichita, Kansas 2022-07-03 19:26:20 –

We are dealing with the isolated storms that will begin to occur here in the coming hours, but most of us remain dry. A mixture of peak daytime heating and high humidity helps to ignite these storms before sunset.

It rains all night along the Kansas / Nebraska border. The rain stays north of I-70.

Some storms go from strong winds to strong winds, which can lead to strong winds and hail, and the possibility of short tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Because of this, parts of the state have a small risk of overnight bad weather.

The rest of the state should remain dry tonight, but temperatures are only cold in the ’70s, so there isn’t much relief from tonight’s heat.

Keep baking for temperature 4th With the heat of July, most of next week will be warm and heat recommendations will be issued in most of the state until Wednesday.

Also, on Independence Anniversary, we monitor a pop-up shower with winds up to 25 mph and a refreshing condition. Carefully shoot down the holiday fireworks as the dry ground and the refreshing breeze do not mix well.

The temperature feels like it’s over 100 degrees Celsius until mid-week, so the intense heat hangs out until mid-next week.
